I must admit, I was a little sceptical at first… looking at them they just look like a pair of
regular trainers and had no hint on clumpy toning shoe looks about them, so I wasn’t too sure how well they would work. I was however really impressed at their styling! I’m not normally a huge sports trainer fan but they are really stylish! They look great with my gym kit and equally as good with a pair of jeans! So I don’t need to limit myself to only wearing them to the gym… perfect!
I decided to wear them firstly for a session at the gym. Slipping them on in the changing rooms I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t be able to walk in them (especially as I’d brought no back up!) but I was pleasantly surprised how comfy and easy it was!
So I glided into the gym (ok, wobbled a little as I adjusted my feet to get used to the balance pods) and went straight onto the treadmill. Apprehensive, I just stuck to a brisk walk and I have to say that they were so comfortable and I could feel the technology definitely doing something! When walking you can feel the pods trying to send your feet a bit off balance, and my body naturally fought against that to ensure that I was walking in a natural gait.
Throughout the week I’ve mainly been wearing them for lunch time walks around the park (alternating my EasyTones with my Shape Ups… see my below blog!) and I’ve really felt the difference! After the first couple of wears I started to feel a bit of aching in my legs and bum… a feeling I strive for after working out! Normally I’ll only get this if I’ve done a gruelling hour long workout or been for a long run, but to get this from a few 30 minute daily walks is fab!
As yet, it’s a bit too early to tell if my legs and bum are perfectly toned but my initial comments are that they are a great product! If they carry on working my legs and bum like this I’ve no doubt that they are going to tone them up soon! Oh, and I’ve just received some info that Kelly Brook, Kim Kardashian and supermodel Bar Rafaeli all wear Reebok EasyTone… if they’re good enough for them then they are certainly good enough for me
I will update in due course and let you know my results. In the mean time, has anyone else tried them out yet? What do you think of them? Let me know!
