The celebrity world has gone from size 0 to super slimmers and it’s one dramatic shift we’re very proud to see. We all know how to lose weight properly but when it comes to doing it, many of us just don’t have the commitment to follow through to the end. So, when A-list slimmers like Dawn French, Pauline Quirke and Russell Grant walk into the limelight in new trim and toned versions of themselves, we suddenly sit up and take notice. If they can do it, so can we.
Why they did it? Because they want to be healthier, live longer and feel better! Russell Grant slimmed down to go on Strictly Come Dancing, that was certainly a good incentive.
How they do it? A sensible diet and regular exercise. For Pauline Quirke, she followed the Lighter Life diet plan similar to Weight Watchers or Slimming World and it worked as she shed six and a 1/2 stone in six months. Other celebs, like Ruth Jones, our favourite from Gavin and Stacey, cut out eating junk and counting calories for nearly 2 years and has lost four and a 1/2 stone so far.
And, then comes Dawn French who has lost four and half stone in her weight lost quest and she looks amazing! She says she just ate less and walked more – it may sound simple but it’s the simplest approach! I wonder what weight loss shoes she wore! But they certainly did the trick!
